I am sure you realise that not everyone a) lives in the western world. b) can afford to not only upgrade their operating system but buy a brand new PC (XP/Vista capable). c) Has access to broadband to download and d) Has the technical knowledge to find out about alternative browsers such as Firefox. A lot of people in the world still use Windows 2000 and cannot upgrade to IE7 even if they had the desire to, technical knowhow, broadband internet access etc. I personally use Firefox, but then I’m a developer in the UK - most of my clients aren’t and I need to test for them. I am peeved right now at having just joined a CMS template club without it being clearly stated (up front) that the templates are not ie6 compatible. Caveat emptor strikes again I suppose. {Ok scrap c) - ie7 is just a 14.7mb download!}

Sadly I cannot upgrade from IE6 as only our IT dept has install privileges….for the entire government. Until they change everyone in the civil service will remain locked to IE6.
