Meet Dr. Kimberly Wampler – Your Trusted Optometrist in Cedar Park
Dr. Kimberly Wampler is a proud Dallas native with a passion for eye health and a dedication to her community. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Texas and went on to graduate from the University of Houston College of Optometry with a Doctor of Optometry degree. A licensed Therapeutic Optometrist, Dr. Wampler is also a certified Optometric Glaucoma Specialist.
With specialized expertise in specialty contact lenses, dry eye disease treatment, retinal health, Ortho-K, and myopia management, Dr. Wampler is committed to providing comprehensive eye care that helps you see better and live better.
Before becoming an optometrist, Dr. Wampler spent 7 years working as an optometric assistant in Dallas, where she built the foundation for her career in optometry. She now serves as an active leader, currently on the Board of Trustees for both the Texas Optometric Association and Elevate Digital Optics Digital Lab. She also leads the Young ODs of America in Austin.
Dr. Wampler’s professional affiliations include membership in the American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association, Central Texas Optometric Society, American Academy of Orthokeratology & Myopia Control, and the Cedar Park Regional Medical Center Healthy Women Network. She was even a nominee and finalist for the Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce 2012 Young Entrepreneur of the Year!
When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Wampler enjoys spending quality time with her two children—her 17-year-old son, Cole, and her Baylor Bear daughter, Alexis. A lover of adventure, she enjoys traveling, experiencing live music, scuba diving (with sharks, no less!), hitting the gym, and indulging in her love for great food.

Dr. Katherine Dang was born in Nashua, New Hampshire and grew up in Round Rock, Texas. Dr. Dang graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and continued to further her education with the doctorate of optometry program at The University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas. She is certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry and licensed by the Texas Optometry Board as a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist.
She is grateful to have been given opportunities to complete several externships including the Veterans Affair Outpatient Clinic in Viera, Florida, Golden Eye Associates in Carthage, Texas, and several clinics in San Antonio, Texas. She is passionate about patient care and providing the best medical care every patient deserves. Dr. Dang has developed expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of vision problems, from routine eye exams to complex conditions such as glaucoma and macular degeneration.
She is currently a member of the American Optometric Association and Texas Optometric Association. Dr. Dang currently resides in Leander, Texas with her husband, Chris, and her son, Asher. Her pastime consists of traveling, venturing Austin’s neverending restaurant pop ups, and hiking any chance she gets!
Dr. Taylor Rains, a Dallas native, received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas State University and graduated Magna Cum Laude. After receiving her bachelor degree, Dr. Rains began her optometric experience as a Certified Paraoptometric Technician in Austin then later at Cedar Park Vision. With encouragement and support from Dr. Wampler and Dr. Wineinger, she then pursued optometry school. Dr. Rains went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude from the University of Houston College of Optometry with a Doctor of Optometry degree. She is licensed by the Texas Optometry Board as a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. She is currently a member of the American Optometric Association and Texas Optometric Association. Alongside comprehensive eye exams, Dr. Rains specializes in myopia management, specialty contact lenses, and ocular disease management.
In her spare time, Dr. Rains enjoys running the many trails Austin has to offer, spending time with her family that resides in the greater Austin area, and loves all cats.
With over 25 years of experience in the optical field, Aslyne is passionate about helping clients find the perfect eyewear that complements both their style and needs. An expert in selecting frames that best suit each face shape, Aslyne has been with Cedar Park Vision for over 15 years, where her friendly demeanor and sincere desire to make customers look and feel their best have made her a standout team member.
When she’s not helping clients choose their ideal frames, Aslyne enjoys spending time with her family—her husband and their son, Jayden—and their miniature dachshund, Sadie. She loves exploring new places through travel and is always eager to share her positive energy and warm smile to create an enjoyable and fun frame selection experience.

Koby has been an Optician for over 18 years, bringing extensive expertise and a deep passion for eye care to Cedar Park Vision. Known for a meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to exceptional service, Koby takes pride in helping patients not only achieve optimal vision but also find eyewear that perfectly matches their lifestyle and personality. From precise fittings to troubleshooting vision challenges, Koby blends technical knowledge with personalized care to create a seamless patient experience.
Beyond the clinic, Koby is a 200-hour certified yoga teacher who enjoys guiding others in mindfulness and movement practices. A lifelong learner, Koby also spends time weightlifting, exploring hiking trails, and traveling to new destinations. When it’s time to unwind, you’ll often find Koby immersed in anime, playing video games, or mountain biking through scenic landscapes.
Emily has a passion for helping others and a love for all things nostalgic. Her spirit is as strong as the wrestlers she watches and her energy is as big as the clowns she collects. She loves vintage shopping and watching classic movies like The Princess Diaries. She’s always interested in getting to know every patient that walks in and guarantees you’ll start and end your visit on a happy note!
Betty is always ready to greet you with a kind smile and a sweet attitude. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she’s happy to assist patients in whichever language they prefer. She is dedicated to answering all your questions and ensuring every patient leaves feeling happy and well cared for. In her free time, she enjoys drawing cats and ants and is a huge fan of Sonic the Hedgehog.
With over two years of experience, Risa Pippin is a skilled Lead Optometric Technician who excels in patient care, diagnostic testing, and team management. She is passionate about supporting optometrists and ensuring smooth practice operations. In addition to overseeing daily workflows, Risa mentors new technicians and educates patients on eye health.
Currently pursuing a nursing degree, Risa is dedicated to expanding her healthcare knowledge. Outside of work, she is an avid cat lover, always seeking to balance her professional and personal passions.
Ashley is an optometric technician at Cedar Park Vision, always making sure patients feel comfortable and cared for. Outside of work, she’s all about hanging out with friends, trying new foods, and exploring new places to make lasting memories.
Sierra is an Optometric Technician at Cedar Park Vision, where she’s passionate about making sure patients feel taken care of and comfortable. She’s always excited to learn more about anatomy and physiology to help improve her work and knowledge in the field. Outside of the office, Sierra loves hanging out with friends, trying new foods, and diving into anything that sparks her curiosity. Known for her kindness and positive attitude, Sierra is all about making a difference in the lives of her patients.
Angelica is originally from California and moved to Texas in 2020 along with her husband, son, dog and cat. She has made a career in Optometry for over 23 years, and loves everything about eyes! She has a collection of glasses! She started as an Optician, and loved helping patients. She has a niche for figuring things out, and decided that Insurance Billing was her calling. In her free time, she loves spending it with her family, and going on trips. She loves to watch over her vegetable garden, and bring new design ideas for her home!
